~ paws-itively quilled dog

ok...so I don't DRAW
I hate to DRAW
I am REALLY BAD AT DRAWING

but a drawing I used to do as a kid came in really handy when
I was asked to quill a black and white dog for a birthday card
I did this drawing so much as a kid that the strokes are ingrained in my memory

so here is the drawing...
to make the quilled pieces part black and part white
I added a few extra strokes to the face and shaded in the areas to quill black

and here is the quilling

and of course I am not just going to make one so I had to make some to sell

here is the card I will put up in my shop this week

hope you have a paws-itively awesome day

  3. This card reminded me that I used to draw almost the same kind of dog. Not so cute like yours, for sure:) It so sweet, the drawing and the quilled dog, too!
