Happy 2015 to you all

after the craziness leading up to Christmas ... on etsy, in a market, in a gallery exhibit, 

an order from Loyola University gift shop, providing cards to local shops and personally 

getting ready for Christmas .. I finally have time to show you some of the personal 

projects I worked on the latter half of 2014

 .... after you see the next few post you will notice a theme

this made it easier to get things done while in a Nativity quilling blitz

I am going to continue with sporadic blogging but if you follow me 

on facebook and instagram you probably have seen these projects already

but I still would love to hear what you think

just a quick post for you today showing you the cards I made from the stick family

 so nothing earth shatteringly new but check back tomorrow because.....

I have had a song in my head lately and decided to act on it

here is your clue....

as you can see I still have stick people on the brain

I wanted to make a decor piece that was personalized to post on MY ETSY SITE

so I thought why not use my sister's family as my model

so that's what I did...and my niece Nicole is spot on to what she looked like at 4 years old

but my nephew Jesse is wondering why he is in diapers {because he is now 20}

and I said that is how I still see him...as the cute little guy he has always been

my sister has super curly hair but  I started making the dad and mom before

I decided to use her family as my model.....she always wanted straight hair any way

and their dog basil {who has now passed away} was a 150lb basset hound

but you get the picture

I made cards out of each family member as well

so I will show you those soon
