As you can see by my blog I am a card making junkie and my most favourite type to make are memory cards. I love to give people cards with their pictures on them and have been doing it for years. For the Mother's Day weekend I always have 2 mother's day cards and 1 birthday card to make for the special people in my life so it is a bit of crunch time for me. Probably the person who has received the most memory cards from me is my mom and her birthday is in April so she gets them close together too. It just seems in the "olden days" they took such great pictures. At first I started out by just printing the pictures but when I got photoshop elements I started to play around with the pictures a bit. I still have a long way to go in editing pictures but I love doing it.
Here is the card I made for my mom for this year.....although she loves to book flights and order stuff off of the internet, she doesn't blog surf much unless I tell her to look (cross your fingers she doesn't look before Sunday).
Supplies used:
- white card stock (bazzil)
- white micah bloom card stock (envelopments)
- bling & ribbon (essential packaging)
- a great picture of my mom (priceless)
