Hello everyone
I am knee deep in Honeybee mode...I am getting ready for the festival this weekend at the Honeybee Centre in Surrey and I thought I would show some of the goodies I have quilled so far. I will post the cards as they are finished but right now I am just quilling.
I like to keep my finished pieces in a container so I can see what I have and they are easy to grab when I am ready to make cards. When I am making a quilled piece I like all the parts to be made from paper and really try to not use anything else but I have caved....you see googly eyes used a lot in quilling so I tried it and it doesn't look so bad after all. I just might use them again because quilling eyes can be tedious.
Have a good day
Cheryl
These are really cute! I especially like the pink crab! Adorable!
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried using googly eyes, but looking from your work, I think I have to start using some as well. :)
I agree with you Cheryl....quilling eyes for small animals can be pretty tedious. So thank god for those plastic eyes...saves us a lot of time and looks so cute too! The pink crab is very eye catching....I love it! I've only tried to make owls...have not yet experimented on other shapes...but will give it a try soon!
ReplyDeleteThe eyes are cute but I will have to make sure I am gluing them better...a few fell of, but I fixed them.
ReplyDeleteOwls are next on my list.
