~ hello
this is a project that I have been working on over the past month
a wonderful designer ~ Kerri Efendi ~ contacted me
about helping her with a vision she had for wedding invitations
this quilled mongram is going in a shallow box
and the actual invitation is going to nest on top
the monogram and names were printed on to a pearlized vellum
with the quilling surrounding the printing
it isn't a big order but I really like how it turned out
~ cheers

It's very pretty. What a fabulous idea for a wedding invitation
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I've had trouble with vellum buckling sometimes when I glue quilling on it, but these look perfect. Maybe the type of glue you used or was the vellum nice and heavy?
ReplyDeleteI love monograms of any sort....these are gorgeous..what a wonderful idea for an invitation!
ReplyDeleteHappy day!

Thanks for the comments everyone.
ReplyDeleteAnn...it was my first time gluing on vellum and I didn't have a problem. It was a thicker vellum as you say so maybe that is why. I am glad I (unknowingly) picked the right vellum to use.
These are beautiful Cheryl..............I love the colours!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is great! I was just looking for your wedding invitations you spoke about. I wasn't able to follow other people's blogs and now I see all the good things I'd missed. Wonderful job! I'll be on your blog for a while, to catch up cards!
