~ quilled elephant cards

 ~ can we talk about the elephant in the room

hehe...that saying was going through my head the entire
time I was making these little beauties


 they were inspired by my niece who has had a 
fascination with elephants for ever


 and I did them in a few different colours 
but her favourite is the hot pink
 





and my favourite is this soft grey
 





the layers of paper representing the ground was
inspired by all of the paper cutting I am seeing lately
I like how it turned out so I am sure you will see it again

    Very, very cute elephants! This was a big surprise :) And the favourites are... the first ones! But if I may pick another pair of them, the red ones, too :)

    cant really pick a favorite, I like them all, like the way you have ones trunk holding the others tail, very nice!!!

    My favorite ones are those pink elephants. They made such an impression on me, so big that I dreamed them. Really beautifully made, Cheryl. I'm looking forward to see more of them!
