Basket Shred...not just for packaging

Hello everyone
I love this time of year when the weather gets a little colder, the leaves start to fall and Thanksgiving starts to approach (for us Canadians). To decorate my mantle I usually like to bring the outside give it that natural look. This year I decided to use basket shred on my mantle to fill in the white spaces and am happy with how it turned out. I also use basket shred as an accent to my nativity scenes. It is an inexpensive and easy way to decorate and add interest to your projects. You can buy it at The Essential Packaging Store (scroll half way down the page) in a variety of colours. I will show you a better picture of my mantle and how I made those little pumpkins in my next post.

 Happy (soon to be) Fall

  1. I love how you used the orange gemstone tissue to make your pumpkins like more "couture"...!!! Fab!!

  2. Great idea. Those pumpkins are really cute too

Thanks for taking the time to comment. I read each and every comment and appreciate all of them.
