1 year ago today...


 

It seems like just yesterday that I did this post and started my foray into the blogging stratosphere. Does anyone recognize this picture....those of you who do thanks for tagging along since the beginning on this little ride called blogging. I didn't think I would have much to share {wrong}, much to say {wrong}, or that anyone would even READ IT {wrong again}. In this past year I have gone from 1 follower {thanks to my sister} to 100 {thanks to the rest of you and this weekends blog hop} , 'met' people from around the globe and I am at 150 posts and over 13,500 page views...when did that happen? 

So now on to the fun part....BLOGOVERSARY BLOG CANDY. All you have to do to win is be a follower {as usual} and make a comment on your favourite item I have made {and shared on this blog of course} over the past year. Doesn't matter what it is...memory card, 3d quilling , quilled or stamped card...any project I have posted is in the running. The contest closes Feb 5th at midnight {PST...or my time} and I will be posting the lucky winner on Feb 6th.

    My mum recently got me into quilling over Christmas and in my internet search for information and ideas, I came across your blog. I love your designs - especially the Quilled Baby Bird card, as well as the Pink Bikini...too cute! I am just getting started myself, but have made a few things and am loving it.     Hey! I just found your blog via the life is sweet blog hop and boy am I impressed! I just recently got back into quilling and am so inspired by your creativity. I especially like your abundant use of glitter! I've been looking back through your archives and boy its hard to pick a favorite but I especially love your bride and groom cards, I'm just gaga for wedding dresses! so classy, happy blogoversary I'm excited to start following your blog!

    You baby feet are adorable. I'd say my favorite piece of yours would be the coloured nativity (the white ones are really elegant too but the colored ones are fresh and alive). You're being really generous with the candy, I really hope I win! =)

    Congratulations on your blogoversary Cheryl. Your cards are so cute and elegant. I wish I had some of your creativity. I like the cream nativity scene. It is really amazing. But the card you made for your manager Anontella and the flower girls are my favorites too.

    Happy first blogoversary! I have enjoyed keeping up with your blog for a few months now. I enjoy quilling and making homemade cards also. I really liked your stamped doodle flower card and of course your quilled cards!

    I love all of your cards, especially since they're not cluttered; just plain and simple. My favorites are the ladybug, bee and turtle cards.

    congratulations on your anniversary. I would say your first year was a very successful one. Choosing what my favorite thing is that you have made is kind of difficult since I've liked all your work but I think your nativity would have to be my pick.

    my favorite would be everything that you've made added with glitter cuz i think that's the uniqueness of yours compared to other quillers :)
    plus with the simple decoration but still each of them captured my eyes :)

    Gotta say my fav was the quilled nativity. I found it through Ann's blog All Things Paper and really fell in love - sooo creative! Congrats on your anniversary - it takes a lot of time to keep going with a blog and you're still at it. We appreciate it!

    Love love love your blog... my favourite is the personal birthday cards with the birthday people's picture on it.. i ESPECIALLY love the one you did for your brother in law....... happy blogging.

    Congratulations on your blog anniversary! I love seeing your creations! I am so glad that I did that quilling hop about 2 months ago and found your blog. I love all your quilling, but my favorite of your quilling has been the little sheep. I loved your Dec. 27th post showing them in those little boxes!! Awesome!!!
