Good morning
I am almost finished showing the cards I made for the honeybee festival last weekend so thanks for checking back each day.
I think this little bee is a cutie patootie. He almost looks like he is running and just needs arms to get going faster. It's definitely my favourite style of bee I've made...maybe googly eyes next time if they will stay on.

Honeybee festival pictures
Good morning everyone
Just showing you some of the pictures from the Honeybee Festival I was in this weekend. It was a 2 day, out door festival so I am glad the weather was great. We did have a bit of wind and it was challenging at times to keep everything in place but a few strategically placed rocks did the trick...at least for me. I had some great vendors around me which made the event very enjoyable. The staff at the Honeybee Ctr were awesome and always checking to make sure the vendors were doing fine and gave us some free honey...what could be better. Here are some pictures of my table and of one of the staff getting a bee beard....you would never catch me doing it.
Have a great day

What I have been up to....Quilling of course
Hello everyone
I am knee deep in Honeybee mode...I am getting ready for the festival this weekend at the Honeybee Centre in Surrey and I thought I would show some of the goodies I have quilled so far. I will post the cards as they are finished but right now I am just quilling.
I like to keep my finished pieces in a container so I can see what I have and they are easy to grab when I am ready to make cards. When I am making a quilled piece I like all the parts to be made from paper and really try to not use anything else but I have caved....you see googly eyes used a lot in quilling so I tried it and it doesn't look so bad after all. I just might use them again because quilling eyes can be tedious.
Have a good day

Just bee-cause I have been STUNG...
I promise....this will 'bee' the last bee themed post for a while (well at least until next week). There are so many ways to play on words with the "bee" theme I have only just begun...haven't even gotten into the 'honey' puns yet.
Enjoy
