Bambino

~ as promised yesterday, here is the bambino. Don't you just love the little curly Q on the top of his head. Lin made a card with the same curly Q and we hadn't seen each-others cards. I like her black version better but this one is still cute too.

~ and I have another post in the works for tomorrow so see you then.

Bambina

Hello everyone
if you remember the sneak peak post I did a few weeks ago you may have noticed this little darling sitting on my quilling board. She is no longer an orphan and has been given a home on this card. Isn't she sweet.

You may have noticed that I am back into the kraft card stock theme like the bees, pumpkins and turkeys from last year.

Check back tomorrow for her brother.....

Sneak Peak

Hello everyone...hope you all had a great New Years.

It's the time of year to start playing around with new projects so I don't have much to share but I did take a picture of my quilling board of what I have been working on. Some I will keep and some will get the boot or be revamped. The processes can be frustrating but in the end there is a new batch of cards.

I always need wedding and baby cards for my store so I have worked on a few of those...and Valentine's day is around the corner so I have a couple of hearts I have been working on {not sure if I like them though}and I never have enough cards for guys so I have quilled a 'dude'.

and if you haven't checked it out yet....Ann Martin from All Things Paper is having a giveaway so you can check it out here.

welcome little one...quilled blue bird

Good morning
...I think this one is my favourite of the recent cards I have made. I like the simplicity of this card and using kraft paper rather than my usual white. The buttons are cute too. I used to stay away from using buttons because I don't always want to stop and put thread through the holes so they look like they are sewn on BUT I've seen a lot of cards lately where they are just glued on and you know what....it's no so bad. I am trying to just let go of how things are SUPPOSED to be.

...and the best thing to glue buttons with is....zip dry.

Stamped Cards....Stamping Bella

Hello everyone
as promised yesterday, today's card images are from Stamping Bella...one of my favourite stamp companies, and to top it off they are Canadian. I love supporting Canadian businesses and they are an easy one to support. I have a few cards to show today so I won't bother posting the supplies used but if you want any info let me know.

Enjoy the rest of your day

for baby

Good morning everyone....I hope you all had a good Easter. We ate the most delicious beef tenderloin that was to die for and I forgot to take a picture.  Oh well....I was distracted with eating it. Now that I have come down from the sugar high I managed to make a card with the baby quilling I did over the long weekend. I really like this card because the card stock is bright and cheerful and it could be for either a boy or a girl. Enjoy the pictures.

Have a great day

    hush little baby

    Good morning
as I was saying yesterday I am working on cards for little ones. The bottles, buggies, bears and rattles are all made and now just for the cards. I had a lot of fun quilling each of these little goodies but I especially like the teddy bear. I think I will be making some more in other colours very soon. Check back over the next few days for the completed cards.

Thanks for checking out my blog today
