Thinking of you...quilled dragonfly

Good morning
...this quilled dragonfly really wasn't one of my favourites when I made fact I didn't like him at all. I wasn't too sure what it was about him that I didn't like but his wings were big. He sat on my desk being neglected then I decided to take his wings off and make them smaller and you know what....he looked a lot cuter.

So I  took him to the honeybee festival with all of the quilling pieces and thought if I got around to it I might package him for sale to use as embellishments for scrapbooks and everyone loved him. I didn't even have him packaged when the first person spotted him.

Then I put him on a card and he came to life for I really love the little critter (even if his eyes are a bit wonky).

The moral of the story is don't give up on something or someone that "isn't perfect".
Enjoy your day
