"Have yourself a merry little Christmas"

Good morning everyone
do you ever struggle with what words to put on your cards? I certainly do...you can only come up with so many witty sayings. So..... one thing I like to fall back on is using sayings or verses from songs or even the title works too...(like for this Christmas tree card). You can get oodles of sayings out of one song.

...which makes me think I should do a series of cards using the verses of an entire song and add quilling to match the verse. Hmmmmmm might just have to try it out.....NEXT YEAR though as I am still knee deep in quilling nativities.

Thanks for stopping by my blog....it is really appreciated.

  1. Maybe a series using the "12 days of Christmas"? Although I have to say that is my least favorite Christmas song.
I do have trouble deciding what to write on cards that I make. Love your cards, they are really cute.

  2. that is a good song to do Ann....at least up to 5. Not sure I would want to quill 12 pipers piping....but then again I could just do one. It's really got me thinking of new projects.

Thanks for the nice words on my cards.

  5. Hi Jackie & Marfa
thanks so much for your wonderful comments on my blog....I am truly amazed at the reach I have with my little blog. I did not think when I started it last Feb that anyone would read it let a lot follow what I did but it appears that I have made an impression....and for that I am grateful.

I never thought I would 'meet' people from so many different places around with world, all with the same interest in quilling. It is great how crafting brings people together.

Thanks for your encouragement to keep going.
