Happy Birthday....Nic

Hello there....23 years ago yesterday my FAVOURITE niece was born {I can say that because she is my only niece}and here is her card. The top picture is of her at about 3 or 4, holding two huge frogs and the bottom picture she is holding 3 kittens. Nic has always been a big lover of animals hence the title Miss Dolittle (as in the movie Dr. Dolittle for those of you who aren't familiar with it).She is also a huge Elephant lover so when I saw this paper I just had to buy it. Her dream is to one-day go to Africa and I hope to be there right beside her.

 Cheers
Cheryl

  6. Aw! too cute! If your niece ever visits Africa do come to Kenya please?
Tell her to check out the David Sheldrick animal orphanage at http://www.sheldrickwildlifetrust.org/. Kenya is a very lovely place nice people and lots of animals to see. The Nairobi safari walk is amazing and its only a dollar entrance fee and you get to see Lions, cheetahs, elephants, rhinos and more right in their natural habitat!
    Hugs.

  8. Thanks to everyone for the wonderful comments.

Njeri....be careful what you offer. You just might have 5 women knocking on your door asking which way to the elephants(haha).

The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust was an awesome site and would definitely be on our 'must visit' list.

  9. This is great….
The place your blog friend is talking about is where Nicole sent money she'd raised money to support the elephant Emily. She’s got a letter from David Sheldrick’s Wife about the place and pictures of Emily the Elephant. It's always been Nicole's dream to go to Kenya. Also when Nicole had Robert Bateman sign a book he talked to her about the David Sheldrick Wildlife Orphanage. There is a picture in the book Safari which Robert Bateman made for children that is taken at the orphanage. He said it was a wonderful place
