~ hello
after nearly forgetting mother's day
I wasn't going to let the same thing happen for father's day
so here is my rendition of an argyle sweater and dress shirt with a quilled tie
  I went through a couple of prototypes but the process was quite simple in the end
- I took a white card base and glued argyle type paper on the front of it

{I printed my sentiment on the argyle paper before gluing}
- ran a score line down the middle of the glued card front
 - cut approximately 1.5 " (3.8 cm) down the score line from the top
 - folded the two cut edges down to form the collar
 - added a quilled tie and some buttons

~ enjoy your day

I love this card. I love argyle sweaters too. My husband wouldn't be caught dead in one though, darn.
