happy birthday Lori

my sisters (and my) favourite movie as kids

(and grown ups too) was Mary Poppins

as well our heritage is British so both of these

were perfect for her birthday last September

to save time I combined graphics and printed pieces with quilling

this really helped with getting the detail right

~ quilled wedding couple (Katie & Anthony)

~ here is a gift I made for a wedding back in July

it is hard to tell in the pictures but the framed is 8 x 10

so the quilling is quite large

I love the personalization on this piece

it is one of my favourite projects I've made this year

it was also the inspiration for this card on etsy

~ framed quilled sheep

~ good morning

as promised here are the quilled sheep that I framed

 side facing pink...

~ a trio of quilled ballerinas

a trio of quilled ballerinas

 ~ good morning

I have more ballerinas to show you

pose 1

I came up with this order for a customer of mine

whose daughter is a ballerina

...

pose 2

she wanted three different poses for her daughter's room

so instead of putting the ballerinas on a card I framed them

...

pose 3

I love the look of the antique white frame, paper and quilling

with a splash of colour - so you WILL see more

...and pose 1 is up on my etsy site

I've framed my quilled sheep

so I'll show you next time
