~ quilled wedding invite

 ~ hello
this is a project that I have been working on over the past month

a wonderful designer ~ Kerri Efendi ~ contacted me
about helping her with a vision she had for wedding invitations

this quilled mongram is going in a shallow box
and the actual invitation is going to nest on top
the monogram and names were printed on to a pearlized vellum
with the quilling surrounding the printing

it isn't a big order but I really like how it turned out
~ cheers

  4. So pretty! I've had trouble with vellum buckling sometimes when I glue quilling on it, but these look perfect. Maybe the type of glue you used or was the vellum nice and heavy?

  7. Thanks for the comments everyone.

Ann...it was my first time gluing on vellum and I didn't have a problem. It was a thicker vellum as you say so maybe that is why. I am glad I (unknowingly) picked the right vellum to use.
