~ quilled baby buggy

~ and the last but not least card of the 4 I was asked to make 

was another baby card but for this one the baby had 

been born so I could put his name on the card

 I love it when you can personalize the card 

it just makes it that much more special

I have been making this baby buggy for years but this time I pushed the 

coils for the head out so it looks more dimensional

~ quilled stork card

~ the third card I was asked to make was a stork for a baby card

I have made them in the past but was never completely happy 

with how the stork turned out

... but I had seen this card from Paper Daisy Card Design
on etsy and fell in love with it

make sure to stop by Jill's etsy shop because she has some fantastic cards

needless to say, Amanda was thrilled with this card

~ quilled elephant cards

 ~ can we talk about the elephant in the room

hehe...that saying was going through my head the entire

time I was making these little beauties

 they were inspired by my niece who has had a 

fascination with elephants for ever

 and I did them in a few different colours 

but her favourite is the hot pink

 

and my favourite is this soft grey

 

the layers of paper representing the ground was

inspired by all of the paper cutting I am seeing lately

I like how it turned out so I am sure you will see it again
