~ quilled mommy-to-be gift tag

... and here is the gift card that went with the quilled baby buggy I posted last post

I've made this card before but it's hard to tell by the pictures that 

this is smaller than the standard card size of the original 

this version is a little gift enclosure size card 

& I love the addition of the quilled heart in the gender colour

(which was requested by the Nana-to-be)

 it's so cute I will have to make more of these but I am knee deep in 

Christmas (& Nativity) quilling so it might be a while

I've been busy with special projects lately

this one was for my friends daughter 

we had been talking about it for a while but you never know how 

it is going to turn out until you start

  each and every piece I made was made in one shot...

I never had to remake or fix anything 

that's when I know it is going to work

~ gift tags

sometimes a card is just too big so I've made a random 

selection of gift tags to sell at work

 

 I am trying to make a co-ordinating tag every time I make new card

at least for the simpler cards that is

~ quilled baby buggy

~ and the last but not least card of the 4 I was asked to make 

was another baby card but for this one the baby had 

been born so I could put his name on the card

 I love it when you can personalize the card 

it just makes it that much more special

I have been making this baby buggy for years but this time I pushed the 

coils for the head out so it looks more dimensional

love how it turned out
